CSR work
As a 150 year old law firm, we have always been part of
the fabric of the communities in which we operate, and are acutely
aware of our impact on our local surroundings.
Committed to carrying out our business in a responsible
way, whilst making a positive contribution to our local and wider
community, our CSR ethos informs the way we interact
with our clients, suppliers and the outside world, as well as how
we work internally with our own people.
To us CSR means:
- recognising the direct and indirect environmental effects
of our daily business practices and introducing 'greener ways of
working' to combat these effects
- creating a positive and fair workplace for our people,
through employee incentives, initiatives and a clear equality and diversity policy
- supporting our local communities and 'giving back'
through pro bono, corporate sponsorship and guidance
- donations and fund-raising work for a range of local and
national chairites
- striving to improve our customer service and inviting
clients to feedback to us, to inform our strategic
and operational decisions.
