the application process
On receipt of your application
The closing date for entry in 2012 has now closed. All
applications for a training contract in 2013 must be received by 31
July 2011.
The shortlisting process takes place during August and
September. We will write to you and let you know how your
application is progressing. Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume
of applicants, we will not be able to give detailed feedback if you
have not been invited for interview.
First stage interview
If you have been selected for interview, you will be invited
into one of our offices to meet with either our training
partner Angela
Woods or our HR manager Tammy Hughes. This will be a formal
interview which will last for around 40 minutes. We will then write
to you to advise whether you have been successful.
Second stage interview
If you have been successful at the first stage, we will then
meet all successful candidates - this is an opportunity for us
to get to know you a bit better and for you to find out more about
us.
The assessment at this stage is changed each year and may consist
of a second interview or may be a full assessment day. We will then
inform all candidates of whether they have been successful or
not.
Offer stage
If you have been successful, we will write to you with a formal
offer of employment, starting in the first week of September of the
year you have been recruited for.
Prior to starting work with us
Before you start, we will get back in touch to arrange a
get-together with some of our current trainees, so you can meet
some friendly faces and get the low-down on what has been going on
since your last visit. This should make your first day a little
easier!
