Chester-based Newton Athletic Youth Football Club's under 9s team will be sporting a brand new kit for the forthcoming 2011-12 season.

Local law firm Walker Smith Way has given a sponsorship boost to Newton Athletic Youth Football Club. The young players of the under 9s team, who train and play at Cheshire County Sports Club, have received a brand new kit for the coming season.

Assistant Manager of the under 9s team Liam Morgan said: "The club is very proud of its successful record and reputation in the local community, accomplished through the hard work and discipline of all our young players and staff. On behalf of the Club and the under 9s team I would like to thank Walker Smith Way for its generosity and support."

The club has gained a good reputation for serving the local community and competes in many leagues for all age groups. It will be teaming up with Chester FC next season to develop a youth team for 2011-12 and it has been awarded the prestigious FA Charter Standard Club award by Cheshire Football Club Association for grassroots football.
