Partner and director Jonathon specialises in manual handling, repetitive strain injury, stress and spinal injury cases, and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

Jonathon's many career highlights include settling the first spinal injury case for £1.6million within two years of the accident.

Why did you choose to specialise in personal injury?
My training was based on personal injury and medical negligence and I quickly forged an empathy with my clients. At the same time I forged links with union clients and with trade union movements generally. It was the area that most interested me, so after qualifying I was able to concentrate on personal injury and recovering damages for injured clients.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Settling my first spinal injury case for £1.6million within two years of the accident.

What do you feel most passionate about within your working life?
Making sure I give a first class service to my clients.

What do you feel most passionate about within your home life?
My family.
