A qualified solicitor, Judith is responsible for managing the
firm's accounts department and compliance. Before joining Walker
Smith Way, Judith was a senior lecturer at the college of law
Chester and a practice development manager.
Judith is a member of the Institute of Legal Cashiers and
Administrators.
Why did you choose this career path?
I like working with figures. I enjoyed lecturing in accounts
and as a practice manager, my favourite aspect of my work was
preparing and analysing accounts. I probably should have been an
accountant but I am very happy with my current role which combines
both my legal and accounting training.
What's been the highlight of your career so
far?
Becoming involved in the management of a legal practice and
being able to specialise in accounts.
What do you feel most passionate about within your
working
life?
Ensuring that work is carried out as efficiently as
possible.
What do you feel most passionate about within your
home life?
My family, music, keeping fit and playing
bridge.
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what's the first
thing you'd do?
I would go on a long, around the world holiday.
