Justin qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and joined Walker Smith Way in 2011. He has specialised in employment law for the majority of his career, previously heading up the employment rights team at a well known employment law and personal injury firm. He handles all aspects of employee representation for our Trade Union members, and has represented a number of sportsmen in the past.

Why did you choose to specialise in employment?
Everyone is entitled to security, dignity and respect in the workplace - in fact I think they are the fundamental hallmarks of a civilised modern society. That's what drives me and why I chose to specialise in employment law.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Every time we obtain justice for someone who has been treated badly by their employer is a highlight for me.

What do you feel most passionate about within your working life?
Taking on unscrupulous employers.

What do you feel most passionate about within your home life?
My family.

Have you written anything that's been published?
No books but lots of articles.

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what is the first thing you would do?
Check it wasn't a dream as I don't play the lottery.
