Lisa joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2004 and

knowledge and experience in the legal areas of probate,
conveyancing and personal Injury.
Lisa now specialises in Wills, lasting powers of attorney,
probate matters, inheritance tax planning and trust work including
personal injury trusts to protect any compensation awarded from
means tested benefits.
She is also a student member of Solicitors for the Elderly and
is working towards becoming a member of The Society of Trust and
Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Why did you choose to specialise in this area of
law?
During my training I felt that these departments best suited
my abilities and personality. There's a lot of client contact,
which I enjoy. I am able to help clients through very
difficult times.
What has been the highlight of your career so
far?
Definitely qualifying. After three years at university,
followed by a year at Christleton Law School and then a two year
training contract - to actually qualify as a solicitor is a major
highlight!
What do you feel most passionate about within your
working life?
My clients. I try to ensure that they receive an
excellent service in a relaxed but professional atmosphere.
What do you feel most passionate about within your
home life?
My home. I've aimed to make it inviting and warm which has
meant constant decorating since we bought the place, but it has
been worthwhile!
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what is the first
thing you would do?
Buy a house with large enough grounds to allow our dogs to run
around all day...
