Michael joined Walker Smith Way as a trainee solicitor in 2011. Michael works closely with Louise Eccleston, one of our partners within the Wills, trusts and probate department, helping to draft Wills and assisting with her case loads. Michael has previously been a paralegal in a niche credit hire firm in Liverpool.

Why did you choose to do a seat in Wills, trusts and probate?
I like the high level of client contact and find it interesting to discover how people decide to dispose of their worldly possessions.

What is your experience of being a trainee at Walker Smith Way?
My first impressions are that the firm creates a supportive professional environment for its trainees.

What do you feel most passionate about within your working life?
Being professional and maintaining integrity at all times, whilst fulfilling potential.

What do you feel most passionate about within your home life?
My family and friends, the City of Liverpool, music, meditation, literature …

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what's the first thing you'd do?
Free myself of certain financial shackles and go and see the world, whilst of course finishing my training contract!
