Rachel joined the firm as a trainee in 1993. She now specialises
in divorce, child related issues and finances - particularly those
with an agricultural aspect. Rachel is from a farming background
and is actively involved in the running of her husband's dairy
farm, so has first hand experience of the day-to-day issues faced
by farmers and agricultural contractors.
Rachel understands the unique situation of divorce on a
farm, and is sensitive to the pressures this places on the whole
family, particularly with regards to children. Rachel's first
language is welsh, and she has conducted a number of hearings in
the welsh language.
Rachel is one of a handful of solicitors in the area trained in
collaborative law and is a member of Resolution.
"At Walker Smith Way, collaborative
lawyer Rachel Wynn Jones is 'extremely professional and well
prepared, and a strong advocate', and specialises in agricultural
divorces" Legal 500 - the leading guide to the UK
legal industry, 2012 edition
