Roland completed an english literature degree before making the
move into Law. He joined the firm in 2005 and now deals with all
aspects of family law including divorce, separation, finances,
cohabitation disputes, children and injunction proceedings.
Roland is a specialist in Child Support Agency (CSA) matters and
civil partnership disputes and dissolution, and is a member of
Resolution.
Why did you choose to specialise in divorce and family
law?
I enjoy the diverse range of work and the fact that this
is a constantly developing area of law. I also get a lot of
satisfaction from helping clients through what is a very difficult
and emotional time in their lives.
What has been the highlight of your career so
far?
Several successful cases involving the Child Support
Agency (CSA) as well as being promoted to
associate.
What do you feel most passionate about within
your working life?
Providing the best service I can and achieving a fair
deal for clients. If it's possible to keep a sense of humour at the
same time then so much the better!
What do you feel most passionate about within
your home life?
Liverpool Football Club, rock music and organic cider.
Often all at the same time.
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what is the
first thing you would do?
A tenner doesn't really buy you much these days
...
