Stewart has been practising law for over 18 years and joined
Walker Smith Way in 2005. He specialises in commercial freehold and
leasehold work, and business sales/purchases linked to
property.
Stewart also has in-house experience gained working at a brewery
and with a wind farm developer, which gives him a valuable insight
into what it's like to be on the other side of the table. He has a
particular interest in and knowledge of wind farms, licensed
property, friendly societies and industrial and provident
societies.
Why did you choose to specialise in commercial
property?
I've always strongly identified with and instinctively
understood property and property issues.
What has been the highlight of your career so
far?
Acting on the sale of Federation Brewery to Scottish Courage
in 2004.
What do you feel most passionate about within your
working life?
Being client focused and client friendly.
What do you feel most passionate about within your
home life?
Improving my golf score on my nintendo wii.
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what's the first
thing you'd do?
Buying Southampton FC and spending the change on something
expensive.
