Suzy qualified as a solicitor in 2010. She joined Walker Smith Way in 2011, having spent a brief period on secondment here in 2009.

Suzy works within our large personal injury department, assisting the team and managing her own varied caseloads. She handles mainly employers liability, occupiers liability and public liability claims.

Why did you choose to specialise in personal injury?
Working in personal injury means being in close, regular contact with clients which allows me to build up a relationship with every individual I advise. I enjoy being able to help them through what can be an unforeseen and stressful time in their lives.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Qualifying as a solicitor and joining Walker Smith Way.

What do you feel most passionate about within your working life?
Giving good, considered and honest advice to my clients in plain language and ensuring each client is happy with the service they receive.

What do you feel most passionate about within your home life?
Skype dates with my parents, siblings and wonderful nieces and nephews; arranging weekends to visit friends and a little bit of cooking and red wine drinking!

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what is the first thing you would do?
I'd book a fabulous holiday and take my whole family away for a few weeks, then spend my time poolside thinking about what to do with the rest of the money!
