Tammy joined Walker Smith Way in January 2009 and is responsible
for recruitment, training, employee relations and health and
safety within the firm. During her career she has worked in a
variety of different sectors including retail, finance and local
government and has enjoyed all of their respective challenges.
Tammy is CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development)
qualified.
What has been the highlight of your career so
far?
Developing an HR team and enjoying the successes that followed.
What do you feel most passionate about within your
working life?
I'm particularly interested in employee engagement and
communication, and I enjoy seeing the positive effect this can
have.
What do you feel most passionate about within your
home life?
My daughter - just keeping up with her is a challenge.
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what is the first
thing you would do?
Share the money with my family and go on a luxury holiday to
somewhere hot and sunny.
