Tony joined Walker Smith Way in 1989 as a trainee solicitor and is now a partner and director within the firm. He specialises in industrial disease and illness claims and also sits as a deputy district judge. Tony is a member of the Law Society's personal injury panel.

Why did you choose to specialise in personal injury?
I support the trade union movement and wanted to belong to a personal injury firm which is committed to the union movement.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
First successful case at court of appeal.

What do you feel most passionate about within your working life?
Ensuring that working people have access to justice.

What do you feel most passionate about within your home life?
Skiing with my son.
