Why did you choose to specialise in personal
injury?
When I was studying to become a legal executive I decided to
specialise in personal injury because I thoroughly enjoy meeting
clients and handling their claims.
What has been the highlight of your career so
far?
I worked closely on a high court case involving a claimant who
sustained severe injuries to his leg and ankle and who had to
undergo surgery in the form of an arthrodesis. I built up a good
relationship with the client and his wife, so it was very rewarding
when we finally secured him compensation.
What do you feel most passionate about within your working
life?
Building up a good relationship with my clients, union members and
representatives, and achieving the right outcome for them.
What do you feel most passionate about within your home
life?
The health and happiness of my husband, daughter and parents.
Weekends are very hectic with my daughter's dance classes, swimming
classes and tennis lessons, but are so rewarding!
If you won the lottery tomorrow, what is the first thing
you would do?
I'd make sure my family were financially secure and make donations
to various charities. Then I'd hit the shops followed by a trip to
the local travel agent.
