pre-nuptial agreement
Pre-nuptial agreements (also known as pre-marital agreements)
can help you to set out exactly what your intentions are if your
marriage were to break down. They are generally drawn-up to confirm
how financial assets, property and personal possessions will be
split should you subsequently divorce.
Our experienced lawyers can advise you on the legal
requirements and implications of pre-nuptial agreements. Although
such agreements are not legally enforceable the UK, they do play an
important part in the decision-making of the courts when dealing
with the financial aspect within divorce proceedings. We will talk
you through your options to come up with a solution that you will
fully understand.
