court of protection
If someone becomes mentally incapable of dealing with their own
financial affairs and they have not prepared a Power of
Attorney, a deputy must be appointed by the Court of
Protection.
If you want to apply to become the deputy, we can support and guide
you through the process and can advise you how to manage the
individual's finances. This might include asking the court to
intervene in matters such as the sale of an individual's property
or the execution of their Will.
We have experience in dealing with all areas of work for people who
are unable to manage their own affairs, including elderly
patients and accident victims.
