We have close links with our local community and have done for many years. We are committed to supporting local organisations wherever possible, and are proud to sponsor a number of sporting clubs including:
We have been supporting Chester Rugby Club both on and off the field for decades, with various Partners in the firm having played for the club, including Huw Davies (who is also the club’s Solicitor) and Neil Turnbull. We have sponsored the club for 13 years and we are proud to support the club once again during the 2009/2010 season. Read more in our news story.

Playing in The Vodkat (North West Counties) League Division 1, we have sponsored the club since 2006.
We have been sponsoring this long-established Wrexham club for many years at both adult and junior level. The club was awarded the Club of the Year 2007 in Wales by the Football Association in Wales.
We are sponsoring Garden Village football club Under 13's for the 2009/10 season. Walker Smith Way are sponsoring Garden Village Football Club Under 13s during the 2009/10 season. The Club was founded in 1922 but Garden Village Juniors started in 1938. The Club has a good track record for developing women and girls football and currently runs 17 sides.
Old Hall Country Club Football Team
In 2009 Old Hall Country Club set up a football team and Walker Smith Way were happy to support the team to enable them to buy a brand new kit. We hope that the team will be sucessful and look forward to a match agains them soon!
We also support the local agricultural shows in our region, through both attendance and sponsorship. This includes the Cheshire Show where we sponsor the rare breeds class, the Denbigh & Flint Show and the Anglesey Show where we sponsored a class in the light horses section in 2008.
