Walker Smith Way’s ‘Walkers Warriors’ team took part in the It’s a Knock-out competition on Saturday 13th June at Belle Vue Park, Wrexham and raised in excess of £1,800.00 for Nightingale House Hospice.
The ‘Walkers Warriors’ endurance, strength and skill was once again tested by the slippery obstacles, tropical pools and team building exercises to score points which gained them a very respectable joint second place in their group.
Jo Williams, a Legal Executive at Walker Smith Way, said “it was an absolutely fabulous day even though the majority of it was spent either covered in foam or soaked through with water! I would like to thank everyone who helped us raise much needed funds for Nightingale House Hospice. This would not have been possible without of course the generosity from fellow colleagues, friends and local businesses for which we are extremely grateful".
